Criminal Law & Justice Program has
been initiated to foster professional
and scholarly activities in the field
of criminal justice. This masters degree
provides a forum for disseminating ideas
related to issues in research, policy,
education, practice and analysis within
the discipline of criminal justice for
both educators and legal practitioners.
This degree attributes its success in
grooming a dynamic legal profession as
it enables the students to develop a specialized
knowledge and skills to understand, analyze
and respond to the recent development
in the field of criminal law. It enables
our law graduates to pursue carriers in
legal practice as lawyers, prosecutors
or court officials domestically and at
international levels.
This LL.M. program has a close bearing
with the issues of Human Rights and Fair
Trail. It is concerned with the due process
of law, forensic investigation and prosecution
of criminal litigation, rehabilitation
of children in conflict with laws, advocacy
for justice to victims of crime and penalizing
the offender for resocilaization
KSL has ventured this program at LL.M
level to invite: Scholars having international
and multidisciplinary orientation in the
field of criminal science and Law graduates
seeking to explore the criminal justice
field as future scholars or practitioners.
