Kathmandu School of Law established its Outreach Residential Campus in the year 2014 at Bhakundebesi, Namobudha, State - 3, Nepal. It is about 35 KM from its current main campus at Bhaktapur. The campus is home to KSL's community outreach programs and clinical education teaching. The outreach campus hosts KSL's various international and national residential schools. It has a residential facility for more than 100 students and faculties at any given time. It has a multipurpose conference hall consisting of latest audio visual facilities. In addition it has two classrooms, a library, a reading room supported by 24 hours solar energy system and internet facility. It also provides facility to government institutions for conducting the training programs. The water supply for the campus during programs is through rain water harvesting. It is a lush green campus boasting more than 50 varieties of plantation along with organic farming .The objective of establishing the outreach campus is to ensure ‘engaged learning’. Students are encouraged to learn by observation and critical analysis. Students’ involvement in community outreach programs such as conducting a field study, involving in public awareness campaign and legal activities are prioritized along with regular class lectures. Furthermore, intensive theoretical classes by different experts are conducted during the residential school.
